Dialoop, a roguelite match-three puzzle game from Tokyo-based developer Byking, launches its full 1.0 version on Steam on April 20, 2026, exiting Early Access with new characters, over 160 relics, and hidden mini-games.
The fight in Dialoop plays out on a match-three board, but the stakes sit closer to a roguelike run than a casual puzzler. Players match same-colored blocks and chain combos to deal damage to enemies, all within a set number of turns. The turn limit is the pressure valve: every match matters because wasted moves don't just cost points, they cost momentum, the run itself. Building combos isn't about chasing high scores; it's about staying alive long enough to take down whatever's standing in your way. Bosses in Adventure mode demand real strategy, forcing players to think several moves ahead while managing the resources each character brings to the board.

Each playable character carries unique abilities that reshape how the puzzle board functions as a weapon. The 1.0 update unlocks three characters previously locked during Early Access: Volkov, Eric, and Shogun Nobu, each with their own skills and accompanying story content. Choosing a character isn't cosmetic. It changes what's possible on the board and which relics become worth chasing. Over 160 relics span both solo and PVP multiplayer modes, and players earn a trip to the shop after each successful run at a level, picking from available relics that complement their character's abilities and playstyle. The roguelite structure means no two runs play out the same way. A relic that carried one attempt might not even appear in the next, pushing players to adapt rather than memorize a single winning formula.
The premise threads through ancient ruins and mysterious stone tablets, with wish-granting relics scattered across the journey. Each character's story unfolds as players push deeper, and the 1.0 update brings new narrative content tied to the three additional characters. The game frames its puzzle combat as exploration and discovery, with deck-building principles layered into the relic system so that every run feels like assembling a new toolkit from whatever the ruins offer up.

A quiet tension runs underneath the colorful blocks. Quick thinking determines survival, and the turn limit keeps every decision feeling consequential. Adventure mode builds toward difficult boss encounters that test how well a player has constructed their relic loadout, while Battle Royale mode turns the same mechanics against other players. Byking has also hidden three mini-games inside the Early Access version, accessible through special commands entered on the main menu. Those mini-games carry over into the 1.0 release, tucked away for players willing to hunt for them.

Dialoop is available for pre-order on Steam at £6.99 / €7.99. The match-three board is the battlefield, the relics are the arsenal, and the turn counter is always ticking down.
