Monster Lab Simulator is a synthesis and tactical battle game set inside the world's most advanced monster laboratory. Players purchase mysterious essences, combine them to synthesize eggs, and complete their growth in an incubator to bring creatures called Fulus to life. Hidden recipes emerge from mixing various essences, each combination a chance to discover something unexpected and expand an ever growing collection of these unique beings.

The laboratory runs on a cycle of creation, combat and commerce. Fulus can be captured with orbs that form an elite battle army, and those orbed creatures can be sold to reinvest in new high tech products. This loop of selling and upgrading drives expansion across the lab, accelerating production and yielding increasingly powerful Fulus. An evolution machine lets players merge three Fulus together to unlock stronger abilities, higher essence yields and new tactical combat options. Legendary Fulu Battles take place in a war room where squads are assembled and put to the test. After battle, exhausted Fulus regenerate in habitats matching their elements, so placing them in the correct elemental zones keeps them healthy and ready for the next fight.

Between experiments and warfare the lab itself demands attention. Fulus get mischievous and naughty, requiring players to watch over them and maintain a happy environment. Ancient ambers can be melted to reveal special eggs hidden within. A lucky lever offers spin based surprises to power up Fulus further. Twenty unique Fulu families populate the lab, each with distinct lineages, and eighty abilities are tailored to specific families and elements. An order screen tracks market demands, letting players boost their economy by fulfilling requests.

Leveling up unlocks deeper sections of the laboratory where facilities can be upgraded, machinery enhanced and hygiene maintained. A trash robot can be added to the team to handle lab clutter. Daily and weekly missions cycle in new tasks, but perhaps the strangest detail is a pair of eyes constantly watching from somewhere inside the lab.
