Nioh 3 is a dark samurai action RPG set in an alternate Warring States period where Japan has fractured into chaos. This is a world of devastation, and you must carve your path through it to become Shogun.

Combat flows between two distinct styles that can be switched instantaneously mid-battle. Samurai Style lets you face enemies head-on with direct confrontation, while Ninja Style emphasises quick movements and special techniques. A demo is available that covers the beginning of the protagonist's journey, with save data carrying over to the full release. Those who complete it by mid-February 2026 receive the Twin-Snake Helmet. The season pass promises new stories, enemies, yokai, boss characters and equipment across two planned expansions stretching into early 2027.
