Ubisoft and Authentic Brands Group have announced a multi-season partnership bringing real-world action sports brands into Riders Republic, starting with Quiksilver and DC Shoes in Season 18, available now. The collaboration will span three seasons with exclusive in-game gear and apparel, with additional brands from Authentic's portfolio, including Roxy, Volcom, and Element, arriving in future seasons.
Riders Republic is Ubisoft's open world extreme sports game, a place where biking, skiing, snowboarding, and wingsuit flying all share the same enormous map. The core of it is variety and speed, switching between disciplines across terrain that shifts from snow to dirt to open sky. Season 18 adds branded gear from Quiksilver and DC Shoes, including outfits, a Quiksilver surfboard, a DC variant BMX bike, and a new toy called the DC Pockett Bike X, built for pulling off ridiculous tricks and over-the-top lines. The Pockett Bike X comes in several variants, with the Blue Steel version unlockable for free at Tier 20 of the season progression. Alongside the new gear, an update to skateboards makes flip tricks more precise and responsive, letting players push the trigger fully for faster board rotation or ease into a lighter press for slower spins.

The world itself is a massive multiplayer playground where coastal surf spots sit within reach of mountain peaks and forest trails. Quiksilver's in-game collection draws from the brand's surf heritage and coastal style, while DC Shoes leans into dirt bikes, grinds, and half-pipe rides. Each brand integration is designed as a bespoke collection crafted specifically for the game's community rather than a simple logo drop, tying seasonal content to the identity of each brand. The Toys and Careers in-game store has also been refreshed with a smoother layout, and for the first time players can try out toys from the store for free before committing.

This is a game built around crowds. Mass races return in Season 18, with competitions running on 1st April, 22nd April, 13th May, and 3rd June. The Rabbid Hunter event also comes back from 1st to 8th April, challenging players to track down Rabbids in Camp Curry for exclusive rewards. Season progression has been rebalanced so early tiers clear faster while higher levels demand more time, with the Pockett Bike X Blue Steel waiting at the top for players who reach 1,300 stars.

Riders Republic is developed by Ubisoft Annecy. Alexandre Enklaar, the game's Live Producer, described the Authentic partnership as reinforcing the game's commitment to a dynamic and evolving player experience, with each brand integration supporting what he called rich seasonal storytelling. For a game now deep into its eighteenth season, the pipeline of real-world action sports brands suggests Ubisoft Annecy sees plenty of road left, one season at a time, one branded BMX bike at a time.
