SealChain: Call of Blood is a roguelike set in a crumbling world where chaotic evil shrouds the land like thick purple mist. Countless innocent beings have become cursed monsters, and there is no savior coming. Instead, ancient incantations are awakening, bestowing power upon Spirit Mediums. You play as one of these mediums, wielding the power of seals to cleanse the evils of the apocalypse.

The core mechanic revolves around how items interact with one another. Items can link together to form chain reactions, enchant each other to enhance attributes, and resonate for additional effects. More deliberately, they can be arranged into specific formations to create seals that grant special effects. This layering system sits at the heart of every run: items stack infinitely, meaning combat power has no ceiling and builds compound on themselves the deeper you push.

Multiple playable characters offer distinct builds, skills, armor and weapons. A talent tree system adds another axis of progression, while an event system triggers random encounters that yield various items throughout each run. NPCs scattered across the world provide different rewards, and the variety extends across monsters, items and events. An endless mode exists for those who want to test how far their chain reactions can carry them.

AliveGameStudio, the developer behind Tetra Project which earned Very Positive reviews on Steam, has also built SealChain with modding accessibility in mind: players can create mods without programming by editing simple text files to customize items, monsters, characters and events. SealChain: Call of Blood launches on PC in February 2026.
