Stellar Blade is an action adventure game set on a post-apocalyptic Earth that has been ravaged and abandoned. Strange powerful creatures called the Naytiba have devastated the planet, forcing what remains of the decimated human race to flee to a Colony in outer space. EVE, a warrior who has travelled from the Colony, arrives on the desolate remains of the planet with a single mission: reclaim Earth for humankind by destroying the Naytiba.
The task sounds straightforward but unravels as EVE moves through the ruins of human civilization. Piecing together the mysteries of Earth's downfall one encounter at a time, she begins to realize her mission is far more complicated than she was led to believe. The story carries mature themes and emotionally charged revelations that run from beginning to end, built around the question of what actually happened to humanity and what saving it truly requires.
Combat is fast and brutal. EVE fights through the remnants of Earth using graceful yet devastating attacking combos, unlocking new moves and weapon upgrades as she progresses. Boss encounters test both reflexes and strategy in equal measure, and a Boss Challenge Mode pits players against Mann, the leader of the Sentinels. The world itself blends beauty and horror across highly detailed environments that carry the weight of a civilization lost. Ruined landscapes sit alongside something almost awe inspiring, a planet that was once home rendered in science fiction scale.
Developed by Korean studio SHIFT UP, Stellar Blade pairs its razor sharp action with a narrative that asks players to question everything they've been told about the world they're fighting to reclaim.
