You Belong Here is a first person puzzle game set within the unsettling confines of a familiar yet distorted home. You play as Philip Oakes, a middle-aged family man who wakes in a cold concrete hallway with fragmented memories and no clear sense of how he arrived. The residence he finds himself in resembles his own, though something feels deeply wrong.

Philip is not alone. An unknown caller guides him through the space, their voice offering direction as he navigates locked doors and sealed rooms. Vintage music drifts from a nearby record player while someone pounds against the door, trying to break in. Time is not on Philip's side. Each room presents its own challenge, locks and codes and scattered papers that demand attention. Clues hide in plain sight, waiting to be pieced together as the pressure mounts.

Across seventeen atmospheric rooms, Philip ventures deeper into this twisted version of home. The puzzles he solves reveal fragments of his past, memories surfacing piece by piece until he reaches a truth that puts everything into question. The ambisonic audio wraps around you, creating an immersive soundscape that heightens every creak and distant noise. Flickering lights cast shadows across spaces that should feel safe but don't, and elements of blood and violence remind you that this journey carries weight.

The experience runs between thirty and ninety minutes depending on how quickly you work through its mysteries. Spoken dialogue brings the story to life, though it can be toggled off if you prefer silence. No prior knowledge is needed to step into Philip's shoes and confront whatever waits behind those locked doors.
